A Bit About Me
Taking this first step is often the hardest part of the journey—and you've already done it. That courage speaks volumes about your commitment to growth and healing.
In our work together, you'll be met with genuine empathy and compassion. I believe you are already an amazing human who's seeking ways to expand and heal. I accept you exactly as you are, wherever you are on your journey, and provide a safe, nurturing environment for meaningful self-exploration.
With 13 years of experience in educational settings, I offer specialized support to help families navigate school systems, creating positive learning experiences for your child.
About My Work
I deeply value your commitment to this process. Your willingness to come to each session motivated and vulnerable creates the foundation for transformative work. Since attachments form at such a young age, our work to develop safe, strong, and secure connections allows your relationships to blossom in remarkable ways.
When we partner together, we'll function as a cohesive team focused on building secure attachments and facilitating healing. Our relationship will be based on transparency, honesty, and dedicated effort. For family therapy, while working with your child, I'll meet regularly with you to ensure our goals remain aligned and that growth continues both in and outside our sessions.
I embrace and celebrate neurodiversity as a natural variation in human cognition. Whether you're autistic, have ADHD, or identify with other neurotypes, I provide a judgment-free space where your unique way of experiencing the world is respected and validated. My approach is strengths-based, focusing on working with your natural processing style rather than against it. Together, we'll develop strategies that honor your neurodivergent experience while addressing the challenges you wish to overcome.
Who I Work With
I specialize in working with individuals, including neurodiverse clients and people exploring faith and spirituality. I also specialize in families, parents, children, and adoption/fostering. As a Certified Animal Assisted Therapist, I welcome the role of furry family members too!
A Note From Me
I hold deep respect for diversity in all forms—race, ethnicity, gender and gender identity, sexual orientation, body type/size, religion, abilities, and neurological differences. I am actively committed to ongoing education in anti-racist practices and recognize this as a lifelong journey of examining and dismantling my own privilege.
