Therapy Group for Adults with ADHD
Your ADHD brain isn't broken. It just runs on different time.
A small, live support group for adults with ADHD — six Tuesdays to understand how your brain works, build coping strategies that actually stick, and connect with people who get it.
ForAdult Diagnosed with ADHD
This group is for adults who have been diagnosed with ADHD. According to the flyer, it's specifically pitched as an immersive group for that audience, led Tracey Parthe, a clinician who is also diagnosed with ADHD herself — so it's peer-informed as well as clinically led.
Over six sessions, we'll work through the topics asked about most:
Neurobiology Basics of ADHD — understanding what's actually happening in your child's brain, and why
Tools for Regulation — practical strategies to help your child (and you) manage big emotions
Coping with Challenging Behaviors — reframing behavior and responding in the moment
Rejection Sensitivity & Social Anxiety — supporting kids who feel criticism and rejection intensely
Supporting Executive Functioning Skills — helping with planning, organization, and follow-through
Advocating for School Supports (504/IEP) — how to navigate the school system and get your child what they need
Building Your Own Support System — because caring for your child starts with caring for yourself
What we'll work through
Six weeks, six focus areas — the patterns that shape day-to-day life with ADHD. Prefer one-on-one support instead, or want both? Group work pairs well with individual therapy services, and many clients do both at once.
Inattention — difficulty sustaining focus, getting distracted
Impulsivity — acting before thinking, difficulty pausing
Rejection Sensitivity — the intense emotional reaction to perceived criticism or rejection that's common with ADHD
Time Blindness — trouble sensing how time is passing or planning around it
Emotional Regulation — managing big feelings without getting overwhelmed by them
Motivation — the ADHD-specific struggle with starting and sustaining tasks, even ones you care about
Meet Your Facilitator
Tracey Parthé, LMFT, LPC, RPT · ADHD-CCSP Certified
Tracey leads this group as a clinician diagnosed with ADHD herself — she's not just teaching strategies, she's lived them. Sessions are educational, process-based, and grounded in real understanding of what it's like to navigate a world that wasn't built for how your brain works.
